Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. The town’s residents turn to Bollywood cinema to escape their daily routine. Nasir is inspired by the people of Malegaon to make a film for the people of Malegaon. He brings together his motley group of friends to bring his vision to life, giving the town a new lease of life. The film is a heartwarming and uplifting take on both cinema and friendship, and what happens when those two worlds collide.
