Rockland Recovery

New Beginnings provides consumers continued support through convenient, yet powerful, intensive outpatient programs Rockland Recovery Review where consumers develop the skills and relationships needed to sustain recovery from alcohol and drug use. Education and counseling group is designed to teach consumers about addiction. New Beginnings assist in identifying destructive behaviors and teach cognitive skills to help overcome and change behaviors. All while achieving serenity, peace of mind, responsible decision making, social engagement and family responsibility.

Our program includes…

Rockland Recovery

They will deliver and sort it on a bubble pack for better medicine management weekly and help our guests track their medication. Parenting classes help parents develop and assist in helping establish discipline skills. This 9-week action plan engages participates to explore and identify areas of need, learning how best to change or better parent their children. The class starts with a video ”removed” and ends with hygiene/health/nutrition. We offer employement opportunities (and provide transporation) through relationships with surrounding businesses–regardless of background.

Community Volunteer Opportunities

New Beginnings Recovery Center is located in central Alabama one hour from Birmingham. Our program is implemented as a 12-step, 12-month, Christ-centered program. Daily and weekly house meetings create and promote the ability to communicate, develop meaningful relationships, and maintain and healthy support network.

  1. Our Christ-centered program attends Revive Church on Sundays where NBR volunteers extensively, and also takes part in multiple Celebrate Recovery services weekly.
  2. New Beginning Guests are required to engage in some sort of community service work.
  3. NBR believes that restoration of family relationships are an essential part of recovery.
  4. Developed by SAMHSA, this is a 6 week program designed to help individuals develop skills that are necessary to successfully manage anger.
  5. This 9-week action plan engages participates to explore and identify areas of need, learning how best to change or better parent their children.

Our program includes…

New Beginning Guests are required to engage in some sort of community service work. Engaging in service work brings a sense of purpose, personal growth, and builds relationships. It fosters empathy, makes a positive impact, and improves mental health. Ultimately, it strengthens communities and promotes compassion and altruism.

Community Volunteer Opportunities

Developed by SAMHSA, this is a 6 week program designed to help individuals develop skills that are necessary to successfully manage anger. NBR believes that restoration of family relationships are an essential part of recovery. Our Christ-centered program attends Revive Church on Sundays where NBR volunteers extensively, and also takes part in multiple Celebrate Recovery services weekly. We partner with local pharmacy to provide a better meds management for our guest.
