CIA agent Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the spearhead of the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped produce a more authentic execution of weapons handling, house cleaning, positioning, squad-based activity, etc… Referenced in Premios Soberano (2024). I’m a fan of Yellowstone and most of Taylor Sheridan’s work. However, this is a step too far. Now, obviously things have to go wrong to develop the plot, but wow! This group of seemingly special agents is incompetent. They bungle every operation they undertake. From the opening scene where the insurgents are allowed to start attacking before they realize they might be bad guys to the ridiculous decision to use a miserable, unlikeable woman (the main character) to befriend an animated target who is going to the party. I would happily follow this if it weren’t for the fact that this stuff is supposed to be taken seriously. Others here have already stated that the main character is portrayed as some kind of supergirl. And that’s correct. She looks like a terminator! My main problem is that she is really unlikeable.
