It’s more like you’re watching it, you know, from the outside.” In many episodes there is a 3M Command(TM) tape that is shown in the kitchen of Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment, this last happening in 1991. 3M debuted its first wave of Command(TM) products in 1996. I knew very little about the Menéndez brothers.
But that’s all
He knew about murders and about defending against sexual assault. The creepy story kept me at a distance, but now, in this amazing series from Ryan Murphy, I was hooked from the first episode. I could see it as a work of fiction, but the fact that it is a true story made me look back and read about it.
And here I discovered Cooper Koch as Erik Menéndez
My God! There are no likeable characters in this saga, but there are really good performances and that’s enough to keep you glued to it. He captivated my senses from start to finish, including the episode where he only appears.
Will have me re-watching the series soon
Their magnificent performance and the humanity they find in their monster make you rethink the whole thing and believe in them/him.
