Check out our list of renewals and cancellations to find out if your favorite show was a hit… When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted ”the Harrison guy Ford”; and he wanted to hear people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that he had to at least offer it to Ford first, thinking that he would immediately reject it, but that other people would at least hear that Harrison Ford had been brought into the project, which sparked interest from other major actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was still excited.. Featured in WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). It was a solid production and a very unique story. The acting was great. I love how each character embraces their imperfections and shows vulnerability and uses humor for spiritual growth. Shrinking has plenty of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, cute, mildly funny moments, and laugh-out-loud moments. I hope they continue to make more seasons because the character development warrants it. is it perfect no. But none of us. I think the overuse of profanity here detracts from the overall power potential. It’s almost like the writers are forcing the show to be edgy. Personally, I don’t think it was necessary. That’s why I gave it an 8. Definitely worth watching.
