Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka. From melting makeup to filming in freezing temperatures, Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti share how they became characters during the production of ”The Penguin.” Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of The Penguin Smoke Tobacco in The Batman (2022), but was unsuccessful. However, for his own series, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco user, with a preference for cigars.

Featured in Graham Norton in the genres: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). The Batman, for my taste, simply had the greatest depiction of Gotham City in cinema. The environment was disgusting and dank, and visually everything you would want to see for what it is called.
Penguin was starting to take control
This show fully accelerates those aspects and builds on the movie perfectly. I can’t say enough about Colin Farrell’s performance in this and honestly, this might be his magnum opus. The guy makes the character feel as grounded and realistic as possible and it’s done so well that it resonates.
I can overlook that though
Even without Batman, the plot on his part is so strong that you don’t even notice it. The other supporting characters are pretty well done, even if some of the casting choices seem a little off for some. This show continues to set up this Batman universe perfectly and I can’t wait to see where they go from here.
One of the best shows of the last decade, hands down
Give Colin Farrell all the accolades he deserves for this role. Season 5 Part 2, ”Squid Game” Season 2, and many more of the most anticipated new and returning shows on TV and streaming.
