Roger Stone, a longtime collaborator of both Donald Trump and Roy M. The acting is stellar

No big surprises visually and the background music sometimes drowns out the dialogue, but it’s a simple story of mentor and mentee.
It’s a tale of pride
You don’t have to have heard of any of the characters in this movie to understand what’s going on. Knowing exactly who they are won’t add much. It’s a story with dramatic tension, but it’s more of a character study than a drama.
There are no fireworks
It’s not dark, which I feared. I will say that it’s not particularly funny. It’s depressing, but depression is a reasonable expectation given that THE APPRENTICE is the origin story of our current national predicament.
